a few answers to our most common questions:

Who do you work with?

We work with couples who are deeply in love and their main priority is wanting to enjoy their wedding day. I (Sheryl) am an enneagram 2w3 so I tend to attract the feelers and the lovers. They also are super fun and happy people! They drink coffee, love to travel, put family first, and are usually night people (but we love you morning people too!)

What are your values?

We believe connection should be at the forefront of all things. My goal is to lead with empathy and always choose kindness. And of course, living in the moment!

What exactly does an event manager do?

Put simply, we are your day of coordinator. We keep things running smoothly and right on time. However, we do so much more too. Anything that comes up, we can solve it. Basically your bonus bridesmaid or right hand man. Dare we say Fairy Godmother? Every wedding we’re at, we bring in my huge emergency kit with pretty much everything you could think would be needed. Why? Because you never know what is going to happen and we’re there to make sure you never know about those little things that do happen.

Help! I’m overwhelmed and my wedding day is only a month or two away. Is it too late to hire an event manager?

Definitely NOT too late! As long as your date is open, we will take your wedding up to 1 month before your big day. Usually a event manager comes in 4 weeks before, when everything is already planned and set, to take over all of those final tasks. We confirm all of those little details you have spent months planning and make sure your day is as perfect as you had imagined. This way you don’t have to worry about yourself, family, or friends doing anything on your wedding day except enjoying each moment together.

How do I know who to choose?

You guys, we get it. It’s so hard to know who to choose with so many options. We want you to have the right vendor for you. So here’s some questions to ask yourself to ensure you have a match.
     Do your personalities mesh well?
Do you feel safe and at ease?
     Do they understand my vision?
Do I feel heard and understood?
     Planner’s background and experience

I feel like I got this whole wedding planning thing down. Is it really worth the investment?

A lot of couples love planning their wedding and find it really enjoyable. For the most part, those couples don’t need full wedding planning. Full wedding planning is for couples who want to have help throughout the process to make it more enjoyable. Making sure everything is what you want your day to be, getting the best price, and covering any and all details that come up (or don’t but need to be covered). However, we do think everyone can benefit from day-of-coordination. The wedding day is a big deal - you’re marrying the love of your life and having the biggest event come to life. You don’t want a million questions or the worry of if everything is in place clouding your day.

When should I book a wedding planner?

We often hear couples booking ceremony and reception first but that’s actually not the first step. The first stop should be a wedding planner! Whether you are interested in full wedding planning, day of management, design assistance, or something in between, a wedding planner can help you start off on the right foot and make sure your planning experience goes as smoothly and stress-free as possible. It’s not uncommon for us to see couples get really excited, start booking things, and then realize they have used a good portion of their budget on only 1 or 2 vendors. What do you do then? Either go way over what you thought you would spend on your dream wedding or sacrifice other details.
